"Multiple things from gauges to brakes, and a lot of little parts in between!"
How long have you owned your Type 3?
"Found it buried in a backyard in AZ, bought it from the original owners in 2015. This is my first VW I've owned too."
How would you describe your Type 3?
"Full custom project / build. Always looking for something else to do to it to make it stand out from the crowd and make it unique."
What's the furthest place you've traveled to in your Type 3?
"After living in the middle of the desert I had to drive at least three hours to get to the closest major city for any event. On one trip home from a show in Las Vegas, as we pulled into the driveway I found my through rod for the front beam had snapped and my trailing arm started to slide out. We were lucky this didn't happen in the middle of the desert!"
What's the next thing you'd like to do to your Type 3?
"I've got a few things, safari windshield, redo door panels and stereo system."
Have you owned more than one Type 3? Do you currently own more than one Type 3?
"I've had a few different Type 3s, this one has been my main project I've focused on and sold the other projects. I have a few other VWs as well, Ghia, Bug, and a Single Cab, but my Type 3s are still my favorite!"
What's the best part about owning a Type 3?
"The looks that I get and most people don't know what it is!"
