- ALT. GEN. - BK/RD WIRE BUNDLE BK= FROM ALT. GEN. RD= POWER FUSE BOX ALL POWER MUST COME FROM KEY ON ONLY, NOT FROM ALWAYS HOT.
IF you have an Alternator instead of Generator, you must use the short harness provided ( black + red wire with inline bulb) because the LED will not trigger the Alternator. IF you have a combo Speedometer with Tachometer, for tach operation wire ( Black to ground, Red with inline fuse to keyed power, Blue to - negative signal from the coil on the engine )
