EMPI, Power pulley. Sold each

The aluminum 5-hole design pulley is smaller than the original crank pulley and has black timing marks.
  • The smaller diameter Power Pulley (crank pulley) reduces the engine fan RPM relative to engine rotation speed.
  • This minimizes the load coming from the generator fan and frees up engine horsepower.
  • Use belt # MB9120-0 (not included)

NOTE:

  • Installing a power pulley will reduce engine cooling and charging.
 Fits:
  • All 12 Volt Generator or Alternator Type 1 style aircooled engines
  • 1967-1979 Beetle & Super Beetle
  • 1967-1971 Type 2 Bus
  • 1967-1974 Karmann Ghia
  • 1973-1974 Thing
