Few things to report regarding the 2020 Type 3 Rally...

The event has been postponed until 2021.  Better for all us in order to stay safe and have a good time.  Best part is that it'll coincide with the 60th anniversary of the Type 3!  Tom Reay announced the news on Facebook:

Well, we tried. But, like so many events this year, we are also going to have to postpone until 2021. We were hoping that by late September, we would have all of this behind us, but the world just isn't there yet.

Scott Taylor and I put the Rally on for the love of the Type 3 VWs, but even more, for the love of our type 3 Community. At this time it would be just too difficult to relax and share good times together. So, we will wait until some time next year. We don't know when, only where. I would like to do it in late spring, when this area is awesome and green, but we will talk about and figure what we think would work best for the group.

With that note there is a bright side: 2021 will be the 60th anniversary of the introduction of the Type 3! That will be something to celebrate. And, hopefully, all the virus will be behind us and we will be able to get together again, give each other a big hug, and share a shot of Patron!

The other great part about all of this is that we've agreed to be a sponsor!  We are very excited to help put on another great Type 3 event.  Scott and Tom have really done a fantastic job with the prior Type 3 Rally events so we cannot wait!  We're still finalizing the details but hopefully we can announce what the details are when the dates are finalized.
