EMPI Sand Seal Assembly.  It measures 2.260" OD and 1.725" ID. Sold each

This is a replacement sand seal for bolt in sand seal crankshaft pulleys.  

This seal has an aluminum collar that slips into the stock (not cut) case opening and encapsulates the seal.  

It is used on sand sealed pulleys that are "bolt-in".  It prevents dirt from entering the case through the crankshaft pulley opening. The pulley must be a sand-sealed pulley, as well.

*When using this seal you must use Empi spacers #MB8688-6. These spacers reposition the sand pulley away from the engine case preventing pulley and seal interferance.

Fits:

  • EMPI Bolt-In Sand Seal Pulleys, 1.770" Pulleys
  • 1.970" Case (not machined, not cut)
